overview

Everyone has a story. Giving people the opportunity and platform to share their stories can help foster education, compassion, and understanding. Making said platform easy on the eyes and simple to use, increases the likelihood of the success of the project.

Tell your story.

On the consulting side, strong branding and a professional website go a long way towards success.

Story Bank

branding

2 - 4 weeks

Black and white. Simple, strong, and clear, but inviting, open, and inclusive.

Custom illustration can also add a personal touch, with the connotations of personal, unique, ‘hand drawn’ stories.

  1. Logo package (bitmap and vector formats; wordmark and logomark; for in light, dark, and colored versions)
  2. Logo Guide

  9. Stationery Design
    • Business cards, Letterhead, Invoice, Envelope, slide deck template

website

$3,000-6,000 – 4 weeks

We’ll need to think through the backend processes to give a more accurate quotation.

One approach we believe worth considering is using video to more succinctly explain the concept of the story bank, and the particular kinds of stories being sought.

  1. Site architecture planning – Planning out the structure and flow of the website with you (what pages do we need?).
  2. Wireframing and sitemaps – Designing wireframes and sitemaps to layout page structure.
  3. Visual design – Creating the look and feel of the site through branding colors, fonts, imagery, etc.
  4. UI/UX design – Crafting an intuitive, user-friendly interface and experience.
  1. Copywriting – Again, working with you would mostly mean offering suggestions..
  2. New Headshots – We think you could use an updated professional headshot.
  3. Programming and development – Coding the site frontend and backend using languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Integrating databases, apps, APIs.
  4. Content integration – Integrating text, images, video, and other media content provided by you, along with stock photography, video, and original graphics.
  5. Testing and QA – Thoroughly testing the site on browsers, devices, connectivity speeds. Fixing bugs and issues. UX & QA testing with farmers.
  6. Hosting setup – Setting up web hosting and domain name.
  7. Security measures – Adding SSL certificates, permissions, firewalls.
  8. SEO optimizations – Adding metadata, alt text, tags to optimize for search engines. Researching the ideal keywords and integrating them into the site.
  9. Training – We can train you and/or your team how to edit and manage site content using a CMS.
  10. *Support and maintenance – Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and site maintenance.

*Support and maintenance are an additional monthly charge of $50+. Price begins at $50 but vaires on hosting/bandwidth needs.

Socia Media Strategy

$250 – 2 weeks

*This if for the creation of the strategy, not it’s implementation (creating graphics, videos, posting content, etc.)

A strong social media campaign can be an effective way to draw people with stories to the Story Bank. We can devise for you a social media strategy, starting by looking at your closest competitors to see what’s working for them.

We look at the top social media platforms (LinkedIn, facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) best suited for the connecting with the Story Bank audience and contributors, and create a strategy for each platform, along with a proposed posting schedule, and pricing for the creation of and posting of content (graphic and video). We also include an email marketing strategy.

Social Media Illustration

Conclusion.

The consulting website is relatively straight-forward in terms of planning, while the Story Bank project both requires and allows for greater creativity. While there are other ‘story bank’-like websites, a strong user experience coupled with a social media campaign that helps source stories will help this story bank stand above the rest.

Get in touch with us as to how you’d like to move forward, and we’ll get back to you asap with details and a contract. Whether or not you choose to partner with us, we do hope the content in the above proposal contributes to your future success.
